there are were horrendous problems on my return flight from hamburg. no assistance despite being requested. issues with no staff being mis directed on three occasions, told i had missed flight, check in had closed, i was put in wrong ques, misdirected, no staff, no help i got so distressed in tears had to when found the right entrance on to the plane was locked. jammered on the glass door and finally another airport syaff came to see yje problem, opened the door and i shouted at the BA Flight staff shutting the aeroplane door who stopped, asked if i was who i am, and when i said yes did come to help me witj my bags and walking sticks put them in the overhead lckers and told me to sit elsewhere. in an outside aisle seat. He apologised profusely saying he did not know how the problems arose. I told him i had been misdirected, had no help at all. in the hour i had tried to get help, my bag in the hold, help with my mobitlity etc. Clearly the staff at heathrow were informed about the situation and i cannot fault the help i received from landing. onwards and out of the airport to the national express coach i had booked. Having had escellent help from BA WITH TWO TRIPS TO THE CARIBBEAN LAST YEAR, I BOOKED BA FOR THIS TRIP ON THAT BASIS, AND HAVE MY NEXT BA FLIGHTS BOOKED LONG HALL FOR LATER THIS YEAR. I WILL HOWEVER SERIOUSLY THINK LONG AND HARD ABOUT GOING THROUGH hANNOVER RETURN NEXT TIME. tHERE WAS NO HELP, STAFF AT ALL THROUGH ANY PROCESSES OTHER THAN CHECKING HOLD LUGGAGE IN , NO LIASON WITH OTHER AIRPORT STAFF OR HELP OFFERED EVEN WHEN THEY SAW ME STRUGGLING TO WALK TO AN FRO THE FOYER THREE TIMES AND HAVING TO GO THROUGH BOARDING PASSES, CUSTOMS, IMMEGRATION ETC OR DIRECTING ME TO THE RIGHT QUEUES ETC. iT HAS REALLY AFFECTED MY CONFIDENCE AND EXPERIENCE ON A TRIP THAT HAS BEEN 43 YEARS GETTING TO THE POINT OF SEEING MY FRIENDS IN THEIR HOMETOWN. tHEY FLEW HERE BA WEEK BEFORE XMAS 2018 AND PURSUADED ME TO FINALLY GO TO SEE THEM. vERY UPSETTING.
