Getting to Bangor After Your Flight
If your flight lands at Anglesey Airport, buses can whisk you to Bangor or you can arrange car hire through Expedia and follow the island’s A55 expressway to the city. Alternatively, take a bus to Holyhead for rail links to Bangor or hire a cab from the rank outside the airport.
For flights into Manchester, there are four options to Bangor – rail, coach, cab or car. Expect a rail journey of around two to three hours, with a possible change at Crewe, Chester or Llandudno Junction. Alternatively, consider coach services to Bangor with a journey time of around four hours.
Otherwise, arrange car rental through Expedia and drive along the North Wales coast to the city. Journey times clock in at around 100 minutes, and with a rental car, you’ll be free to go when and where you wish during your stay.
