Modern 19th century barn conversion in the grounds of our own farmhouse, the old watermill. Relax after a day exploring Snowdonia in our fully equipped cottage. It’s very easily accessible from the North wales express way and only a short drive to Pen Y Pass car park. We found it clean and homely with everything we needed. Really lovely hosts! Beautiful and very well equiped cottage. Great location for visits to Snowdonia/Anglesy and the coastal area. Great hosts there to show us around and let the kids feed the chickens, which they loved. Lovely little food parcel to welcome us which the kids loved dipping into. Beautifully clean and comfortable with extra blankets and throws for snuggling. We didn’t realise there was no bath when we booked which would have added to the experience and eased our muscles after hiking Snowdon but it is on the listing that it is shower only. Great property, the only criticism is that it was a little too close to the road for my husband and I who are very light sleepers. Some lovely treats were left for us on arrival and the kids appreciated these especially! The only slight downside was that there wasn't really anywhere to walk the dog at the cottage as it was near a main road with no pavements.
