"Great location!! Shepherds hut fully equipped and well thought out, even has a picnic basket and blanket. Host is super friendly and helpful. Easy access to local community, walks, cycle tracks through beautiful forests with picnic spots along the way. Safe environment and free parking a short walk from the accommodation. Braai (barbecue) and fire pit. As SAFFA’s was great to sit around the fire under the stars braaing marshmallows. Thanks for an awesome stay."

"No Parking close by to drop off luggage. Treacherous, steep downhill path through a park to take several heavy suitcases. Incredibly poor communication from the property, who in the first instance did not respond for over a week to our request for an early check in. e repeatedly asked host for check in details,and we eventually got them on the day of check in only 15 minutes before scheduled (normal) check in time, at which time we were already at the weddding of my daughter, having travelled...

"If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest."

"My family of 4 (including kids aged 5 and 8) had an incredible time at the Cottage over the course of 4 nights. The entire property is gorgeous and the hosts were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Our stay coincided with a period of warm weather so we got to enjoy beautiful summer evenings strolling about on a countryside estate watching foxes play on the adjacent field. My kids enjoyed picking strawberries from the garden and bouncing on the trampoline. The cottage itself was cozy,...
