The subway station is directly under the hotel so if you need to catch a subway train or need to get off at a station near you, it will be conveniently under your hotel which also doubles as a shopping mall and connects to the shops underground in the subway station. "Kyoto is a big city, so lot of walking if not by the station. the bus was very useful. maybe if there was a rental bicycle at hotel I would definately use it. hotel was fine and will use it again. "
