"Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food was good for evening meal and breakfast. However, the room let the hotel down. Stains all over the place (walls, floor, chairs, sofa...), holes in the wall, cupboard door wonky and hanging on by a thread, blind not working, both chairs wobbly and on the edge of collapse. If I'd been staying longer than one night, I'd have asked for a room change, but after a long day I really couldn't be bothered. A good refurb would do wonders!"

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, we are breakfast people but I am not a morning person. The staff were amazing and accommodated our request for my husband to bring some breakie back to the room for me. My husband doesn’t like mushrooms but he tried theirs, ate them all. He could not stop complimenting the breakfast, especially the mushrooms."

"Room was a good size and very quiet. Staff didn’t provide clean mugs or glasses on day 2 - had to ask on day 3. Also had to ask for a second bath towel on one day as they’d only left one between two people. Food options were a little limited, but tasted good. They ran out of a couple of my regular drinks, and took a few days to restock."
