Amazing boutique property. Nice staff members who helped with a quick check in and check out. The rooms were newly renovated with modern amenities. AC and Microwave in the room worked very well. Lot of dining options nearby at a walkable distance. Ample parking in front of the rooms. We had a very comfortable stay.

This was our first visit to the area and our first stay at Hotel Californian. We were very pleased with the overall experience. The hotel offers excellent value, impeccable cleanliness, and attentive service. The property is stylish and well maintained, and the staff made us feel welcome. We look forward to returning.

Loved the beachfront location and ability to use the property’s bikes to explore the local area. The room was comfortable and had plenty of space for our one night stay. We only used one pool area but found it clean and warm. Really lovely stay and would definitely return!

Close to airport. Friendly service. Expensive for late check in time and very early departure to airport, so I was surprised to also be charged $20 for parking overnight. Otherwise a pleasant stay. Pretty pool area, though we weren’t there long enough to take advantage of the amenities.

This is such a hidden gem. Property is well maintained and rooms are spacious and more importantly squeaky clean. Modern bathroom with walk in shower was a big plus for us. There is enough parking and front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. Property is so well located that it’s in walkable from the beach and State St. We will definitely come back here next time we are in Santa Barbara.
