Absolutely fantastic 2-day stay in the Royal Suite at Le Château de La Seigne. It’s only a 10-minute drive from Carcassonne, and Ubers had no trouble picking us up right at the gate quickly. ​The château itself is stunning and beautifully restored, packed with character and cool features like vintage restored cars in the entrance garage, a working old-school jukebox near the hall and a characterful staircase up to the upper rooms. ​The Royal Suite was huge, spotless, and had incredible views...

We thoroughly enjoyed are stay! The pool and AC were a welcome relief from the heat. The hosts were excellent and we loved hearing about the work they’ve done to the house and the history of the delicious cassoulet they served up in the evening. I wish we’d stayed for longer.

What was unique was when we sat down to dinner, there were two other guests and the owners sat around the same table. More like a dinner party than a hotel restaurant scenario.

Outstanding location amongst the vines with beautiful views yet only 10 mins from Med. beaches. Incredible high standards of accommodation and food.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location, just a short walk into the old town but also on a street with plenty of amenities of its own. Free parking nearby in the Place Barbicane which was easy to find and close to the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and local products. The hotel garden was beautiful, and a cute if very small roof terrace too from which you can get a view of the city walls.

We only stayed for one night before a morning flight from Carcassonne but wish we could have stayed longer! Our hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable without being intrusive. The house looks like something from the pages of a posh interior design magazine. We had a balcony to enjoy a glass of wine. Restaurants, supermarkets and the rail station are all a few minutes walk. And our host's baking skills made breakfast an absolute treat - you'll notice the delicious smells wafting...

BJ and Iris were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The setting was great with wonderful views and a stones throw from Carcassonne city. Breakfast was wonderful with home made jams. BJ was also very kind to re freeze our ice packs for the onward journey. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful hosts, couldn’t have been more accommodating. Great room, great location, despite the heat we managed to stay cool, had use of the pool. Would recommend to stay here if you are ever in the area.

Beautiful and quiet hotel. Clean rooms and a really laid back atmosphere. Breakfast was nice but wasnt much variety. Eveything else was perfect, would stay again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable with beautiful views. The breakfast was charged extra and there was plenty of cereal, bread, cheese, meats, fruits and yoghurts etc. It is over 4 km from Carcassone and buses are infrequent but there is plenty of parking if you take a car. We had a fabulous stay.

The property was in a good location, quiet but walkable to all important sites. Catherine was a lovely host, very accommodating, had breakfast ready each morning and kept our luggage on our day of departure.
