"It is a beautiful property with well appointed and attractive rooms. The staff were always willing to go the extra mile to help us. The only downside of the stay was there not being a lift, although staff was willing to help carry our bags upstairs."

"Excellent hotel in a great location very close to the beach. I had a single room which to be honest was a little small but perfectly adequate for a short stay. The hotel is clean and has many great facilities. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order with a selection of continental food at the buffet. Short 10 to 15 minute walk to the town centre or 20 minutes if you follow the coast road. Well worth a stay, thank you for a pleasant experience."

"Stayed jus 1 night, Full English Breakfast was fantastic, included juice, yoghurt, fruit and pastry, set in a lovely conservatory with sea views. The boathouse suite was spacious and well equipped, huge comfy bed. Practical, Romantic room and lighting. Fridge in room, perfect. Nice outside table and 2 chairs in a petite courtyard. Instant fast hot bath in just a few minutes. We sat out on the veranda in the evening, just lovely. There is good acces to beach, coast path, and Station. Fabulous stay, we would definitely stay here again, Parking very close to room, Small parking spaces for my large estate car. But I had a choice of spaces. Thankyou for a relaxing stay, just what we needed. 10 out of 10"

Greetings from reception, attentive & pleasant dining room personnel, Lovely gathering place for ladies, artisans, locals & visitors. Superb location by promenade, gardens, galleries, bike path & town proper. I’ll always return there, the Queen’s Hotel has my name on it:)"

"Lovely comfortable and stylish apartment in great location. We stayed for a week as a family of four with teenage sons and found the apartment had everything we needed, it was very comfortable and provided great access to the areas we wanted to explore. Great to have parking and Carbis Bay beach within a 5min walk (took a bit longer coming back up the hill). We walked to St Ives most days or caught the train and founds lots of places to see within walking distance or a short drive. We'd definitely return to Carbis Bay as enjoyed the location being a little way from busier St Ives and would stay here if they had availability."

"I recently stayed at this hotel in St Ives and had a very disappointing experience. The room I was given did not match what was shown in the booking photos at all. It felt misleading and not worth the money. Cleanliness was a major issue — the room was not properly cleaned, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Basic services were also missing, and when I raised these concerns with the staff, there was little to no response or effort to resolve the situation. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor service, and mismatch between the advertised and actual room made this a very negative experience. I would not recommend this hotel to others and strongly suggest future guests be cautious before booking."
