I’ve never stayed in such a perfect place before. The property and the room were absolutely splendid. even more beautiful than in the photos. A beautiful place to stay while visiting the Loch Ness area. Quiet area and safe parking on grounds. Not suprised visitors book showed people from all over Europe - its a gem. Absolutely spotless and the hosts cannot do enough for you. If you intend to visit Loch Ness or Skye,this place is central for your day trips. A fantastic breakfast sets you up for the day. 5*

The staff were extremely helpful and the room was perfect. Food was lovely m, especially the sticky toffee pudding. Beautiful location and traditional building.

We stayed at The Lovat for our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. Lovely, comfortable hotel which was run by some very helpful and efficient staff. Breakfasts and dinner where fantastic. We ate in different places throughout our stay and the hotel food was definitely the best in comparison. Our only bug bear was that the wifi in the garden room, where we stayed, was poor. We had to go into the hotel to use it. However it's good to switch off from Facebook and the like now and again so we...

This hotel is a shining example to others. Everything is super. The service is excellent, staff lovely, food excellent. Ambiance is relaxing. Location not bad either! Country house hotel at its best, without any of the stuffiness. As as solo traveller I felt very comfortable. I will make a point of returning. No complaints whatsoever.

Absolutely would recommend this place. Check in information was great and very easy. We were travelling by bike and they let us access the secure bike storage early so we could enjoy the town without worrying about them. The room was spacious and spotless and the shower was brilliant. Hamish from housekeeping was very friendly and kind to our daughter as we were leaving. Very nice and very clean.

Strålande läge precis vid slussarna vilket var trevligt. Litet trevligt rum med snedtak in mot gården(vissa har mot slussarna). Skön säng, svalt på natten, helt ok badrum med bra tryck i duschen. Ingen frukost ingick men flera bra alternativ i närheten, bland annat det café som ligger på framsidan av huset.Gratis parkering fram till 11 på fm. på baksidan eller på gatan.Bra läge för utflykter till Fort William.

We really enjoyed our stay.It was in great location, area around was really lovely and rooms was great.

Very friendly staff. Had sky sports on TV in bedroom. BT sport in main bar. Breakfast is not a buffet but is cooked to order. As well as standard Scottish full breakfast can recommend the Finnan haddock with perfect poached eggs

Ness-side is a perfect home from home, fabulously appointed and beautifully presented. The views out across the Loch are stunning and I would quite happily have spent the day just sitting watching the world go by!! No sign of Nessie this time, I think she was on her hols!!!!

We have travelled the Highlands for the past 10 days and this was by far the comfiest bed!! Exceeded our expectations for the price. Lovely cooked breakfast with an incredibly hardworking owner who could not do more for you. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we’re back this way.
