"Beautiful surroundings and views, house pleasant and has everything you need. Kitchen a nice size and modern. Uncomfortable double bed and for the price (over 300 a night) I would expect more comfort. Bathroom modern, no bath, but great shower. A nice space but cleaners left food in cupboards and grease. "The amenities in the property were very poor. The price I paid for one night stay was extort for the facilities on offer in the property. The heating only worked in the kitchen. The electric heaters in other rooms were present but could not be switched on. There was no hot water in the property. We tried following the advice in the property folder but were unable to turn on the hot water. The mattress in the main bedroom was very springy and uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall, very poor...

Mercure Inverness Hotel

"This hotel has a great location on Church St., just across from the, close to all the stores & bars and easy walking distance from the train station. The breakfast is very good. About the only problem is the that the WiFi connection to the rooms is weak so if you have to do any serious work you might have to do it from the lobby sitting room."

Tulloch Castle Hotel

"We stayed two nights at Tulloch Castle. Because I booked them at different times, we stayed in two different rooms. The first night we stayed in the Oak Room. Absolutely amazing and beautiful. The room was the most amazing room we stayed at on our trip across the UK. Nothing topped it. If you can book the Oak Room, it's worth it. The second night was in room twelve. Nice room, but definitely NOT THE OAK ROOM. The food- ate in the restaurant one night, had the fillet steak. Compliments to the chef. It was perfect and delicious. Second night we ate in the bar. Different menu. Had their fish and chips. Again, it was perfect. The staff was great. We had to check out of the Oak Room and check into the next room. The staff was absolutely wonderful and moved our bags for us from the Oak Room to room 12 while we did our tourist things. That was wonderful of them. They were all kind and warm. Tulloch hit all the right marks. Scored 10/10 on our score card. Thank you Tulloch for the experience and memories."

"Loved staying in such a beautiful historical building. Very nice and quiet. We had breakfast included. The food was great with healthy options and plenty of coffee choices. We also enjoyed the dinners in the restaurant…which was nice after a day of sight seeing. Staff were so pleasant and helpful and went out of their way to answer questions and make sure we were comfortable. We were in Scotland for 10 days and stayed at two other hotels. This was our favorite!"

"Be sure to book ahead if you want to eat at the restaurant. Parking is out of premium. It’s a grand old place with a lot of history and close to a small village with a couple of restaurants which you should also reserve at. coaches full of seniors come here, so there’s a vibrant scene at the hotel bar"

"Lovely lobby and grand staircase right next door to train station. Our room looked out onto platform 2. Hotel is a gracious older dame. Spacious. Comfortable but showing signs of age. Worked well for us as we enjoy heritage properties. Particularly when the train station entrance is immediately beside the hotel door and public transport stops."

Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We were here on vacation. The location was great, right by the river. The restaurant was good (they seem to dry-age their beef themselves). Staff very helpful, facility very clean. Only drawback, no elevator (which was only an issue with luggage, but staff offered to carry bags up for us). We'd happily come back."
