"This is a very old hostel in an excellent location right in the centre of Cambridge. It depends what you are looking for. The hosts were very friendly and helpful; they just aren't on site all day and had to be contacted by phone at times. The hostel rooms are in a maze of hallways above a pub, with lots of doors and turns that you have to remember to find your way up through the building to your room. That adds historical interest but is not great for convenience and fire safety. The hostel room itself was very old with carpets worn and stained, not a great experience. The shared bathrooms were recently renovated and looked great. "
