"A great place to stay for us as a stop over on the way to France via the tunnel (20 mins drive).Really comfortable beds, very clean, newly renovated, with a small sitting room and two beds with 2 bathrooms. Just what we were looking for and they let dogs stay. We usually stay in a Premier Inn but this was far better value, plus the pub downstairs was excellent. Good choice of beer, great food and perfect hospitality - what more could you ask for?? Fully recommended!"

"Check in was easy and location was good, thise are the only positives. The property is extremely dated and dirty. The furnishings in communal areas were torn, threadbare, stained, dirty and smelly. The carpets were dirty, covered in dog and human hair. There was mould above the shower and dirt and mould under the sink. The areas around the toilets were soiled with rusted old urine splashes. "Despite there not being a modern appeal, the hotel was perfect and very comfortable. Only downside was the price of food at the bar was more expensive than other hotels."

"The room was clean, and the staff are great. Few little issues, but nothing major, we had some issues with the shower being a bit temperamental, sometimes it would come on, other times it wouldn't come on at all, and the temperature took some working out as well. The room had a nice fridge, and decent sized TV on the wall, which worked well. The building seems to only have 1 lift that covers a range of floor, so there is often a queue for the lift, which is fine, its healthy to take the stairs. Parking is a problem, the carpark is not big enough for the number of guess. there was a lot of double parked cars, blocking in other vehicles. The food at breakfast was slow to replenish but was decent, and the staff were very polite and friendly. In some areas it feels like the hotel is stuck in the 80s but in others it feels like it is modern. The hotel is dog friendly, and no issues with you having pets in the room, and around the building. I enjoyed the stay, did everything I needed."

"We go there a lot and have been doing for years. Staff generally great. Nice to be on the beach, especially in the summer. Despite being refurbished a couple of years ago, the upper corridors look a bit grubby and in need of a few fresh coats of paint. Upstairs carpets also look grubby. And we really don't like the new decor. We preferred it as it was.The rooms are nice and clean when you arrive and housekeeping is good. There are a few issues with the new bathrooms which could do with some attention. Induction at the spa was really poor. I and other people who'd come just for the day we're left with no idea how anything worked! That member of the spa staff needs training properly. The person who did my massage though was great."
