"Hotel is as advertised, in need of renovation but we always had the pool to ourselves and apartment was very spacious. So if you are on a budget and after a no frills place to stay in central Cairns I highly recommend. "

"Pros: large unit with outdoor area. 2 TVs. All the necessary for cooking. Pool area is relaxing and beautiful. Lots of space to park. Staff is super friendly and helpful and their pets are the best! Easy walk to Lagoon area and minutes away from the Esplanade. Super quiet - didn’t hear any noise from outside, hallway, or other units. Cons: Dated unit. AC wasn’t the best, so the room smelled damp. Staff office hours are hit or miss."

"It has some wear and tear, but the location is perfect. It has plenty of space, the kitchen even includes a washing machine. The round tub is a nice plus. Cleanliness was the only point I think they could improve, but other than that, I really loved my stay. "

"Excellent location, practical apartments, nice pool and easy parking which you can reserve but most of all Margaret and her family are easy to deal with and thoughtfully kind. Two suggestions though, the beds are smallish and bouncy so when next they are updated try to get the ones which have minimal partner disturbance, and it would be good and easy to improve the frying pan quality and size. We will return, thanks."
