"Difficult to assess as visited in early March, so very much out of season. No hot food on premises. Swimming pool cool (heating issues) on the two occasions we tried, Steam room and jacuzzi were OK, Sauna was out of action. Pool Showers out of action on first visit. Enjoyed the 9 hole pitch and putt. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed in the Manor House (a one bedroom apartment), rooms were spacious but real mix of quality of furnishings. Plenty of hot water and ample heating. Outside areas looking in need of work (uneven paving slabs etc)."

"Got to hotel only to be told by staff that the twin bedroom I had booked wasn't available and that they only had a double room for us. Had to complain to the manager to get them to change it. Shame as the room was clean tidy and had good facilities."

"The room was spotless,spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. It had a very large shower and bath. Shampoo was provided along with body wash and bath salts. The towels were spotless.The room had everything that you needed such as tea and coffee, buscuits and a hair dryer. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was amazing. Would definately ho back and recommrnd to others."

"All the staff were lovely and friendly. The building is beautiful. All the food was delicious. It’s clear everything is made with care and therefore we didn’t mind any delays, especially on busy weekends. Highly recommend."

"I asked at reception for our TV to be fixed as it didn't work he said someone will be right up. 3 hours later still nobody came so me and my partner were talking while we got dressed to go out. As we were ready to leave I went back in to say nobody came to fix the telly. The owner then got a attitude and said he received a noise complaint which nobody came to say anything after me saying that he then told me to check out he argued with me Infront of other guests and told me to leave very disgusting made me and my partner feel very unwelcome I will never be going again "

"Excellent staff at hotel. Upgraded our room FOC due to incorrect details on booking site used. Very helpful and understanding. Great service at breakfast and evening restaurant. Lovely location in a nice quiet village "

"What a gem of a small, cosy hotel! I booked a small double, but we were upgraded to a suite with a sea view, as it was my daughters birthday. Beautifully clean, with white fluffy towels, toiletries, tea, coffee and a fridge! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay more comfortable....very friendly, helpful, kind and very generous. My daughter was provided with a birthday cake, which i asked for their help for shopping for one as a surprise for my daughter.....they didn't even charge me for this ! Biscuits and sausage for our dog, again, not charged! Outstanding customer focused services.....we've never received such great hospitality. Thank you to Jasmine, Morgan and Autumn for making our stay extra special, we really appreciated it xx"

"Our room was nice, clean and bright with a large window facing the road. Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. However check in was late at 5pm with an early checkout at 10am. No breakfast or lunch option due to being out of season and no fridge to store any food over night. Great for walks but anything else you need to travel out by car."
