"Overall a great hotel. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were great and breakfast was excellent. Swimming pool was very clean, however the changing rooms need a lot of work, locker doors hanging off and even missing. Around the jacuzzi the panels were broken. Evening meals were very limited menu in my opinion and rather expensive. Overall though a great stay. Just spend a bit of cash please and fix the simple stuff."

"Room was lovely and bed very comfy, bathroom nice. Nice welcome at reception. Communal areas quite cold. Bar and dining area was a little corporate and soul less for my liking. Breakfast wasn’t great, porridge tasted off, only decaf option was an instant sachet, fruit juices were overly sweet and cooked was average, good bread selection though. I would stay here again but I would eat in town or at the local pubs in Christleton"

"Lovely location near to the Old port, lok gates barge and old boats, ducks and swans to look at during breakfast. Well furnished room with a lounge chair. Breakfast was very well cooked, Breakfast staff were superb! Clean room and a swimming pool! Air conditioning was spot on. Comfortable bed, spacious room. Dove toiletries."

"We really enjoyed a one night stay. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious, the staff were very friendly. The beds were comfortable. The pillows could be improved. There were nice products in the bathroom We didnt use the spa but it looked really nice. We liked the outdoor surroundings with the lounge beds to relax on and the hotel was local to Chester as we were going to the Oulton park circuit"
