"I love this hotel. The only downside is the pool been connected to the health club and not dedicated to the hotel. It gets very busy and now they run swimming lessons which they reserve part of the pool for. Not what you expect when you pay a lot of money"

"I have stayed at the Resident Liverpool several times now, and the staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are fairly well soundproofed but there is still hallway noise. Besides that, I've had consistently good experiences there."

"We stayed at the Clayton Hotel for 1 night, 5 hours to be precise. This was to enable us to get a few hours sleep before our early flight. Checking in was simple. You could either go to the desk or do self check in, which is what I did. That was very easy and quick. We found our room quite quickly. We had booked a room that slept 3 as our daughter was with us. The room looked clean and tidy and the bathroom to. The only little niggle was the overflow in the sink looked very mouldy (just a bit of bleach would have cleared that away). Otherwise all looked good. Now coming to the beds......wow, the mattresses were so comfortable, I didn't want to get up. It was the first time I got out of bed without every bone creaking. My husband and daughter also commented on how comfortable they were. So yes I would definatly recommend this hotel."

"The rooms were very clean, very comfy beds. We loved the lovely pool, which was heated. The showers so good, will definitely be back very soon, to have another swim,and enjoy the good breakfast! Many thanks, we were a party of four. So enjoyed our stay."

"The welcome from staff on arrival was friendly. We were asked what brought use to Liverpool. On arriving at our room it was smaller than I thought it would be for a family but it worked well. The bed settee was ready made for us. There was a small fridge, ideal for the bottles of water we'd brought with us, a kettle, cups and selection of tea/coffee/milk sachets and suger. The bathroom and separate toilet was clean. At breakfast the next day there was a good selection of different foods. My Grandsons loved the pancake maker. The area was set out well and comfortable. The only thing we had issues with, were how rude other guests were (we noticed majority were foreign). On returning on Saturday evening, I took both boys to the pool, they loved it. Not many other guests were using it, as you have to book your session. Towels were provided. Showers and toilet were available. I did notice there was a gym and sauna there to. My husband and I found the pillows weren't very comfy but the bed and quilt were adequate. I did spot some fluff round one side of the sofa bed. The room was well sound proofed. I would highly recommend and definitely stay there again."
