Lovely, clean, comfortable property with friendly owners. Breakfast was great quality too. The property is a short way from Abergavenney, surrounded by countryside - so very peaceful. A very relaxing stay.

I really enjoyed my time at the Cresselly Inn. Accommodation, food, staff and bar all top drawer. I would highly recommend the Cresselly Inn.

The hotel is very picturesque and still has it's original charm of the old coal exchange the bedroom (presidential suite) was comfortable but needed a refresh the headboard and the bottom of the bed looked worn out the room needed to be dusted on the wardrobe and hoovered fully the jacuzzi bath tub was very relaxing and nice to sit and chill in the bath , the breakfast was fresh and tasty there was plenty of food choose from hot and cold the toaster took a long time to warm up and toast the bread, the staff where very polite and freindly the only down side was we asked for fresh towels and a hair dryer in the afternoon and didn't get either i had to go back down in the evening to ask again for towels to get some, we was told there was no spare hair dryers available we asked again in the morning and got one and got told there where a few spare, when we checked in we was given a QR code for room service that was until 2am we went to try to order room service at around 11 30pm and was unable to as it wouldnt let you orderel to your room only to a table, overall i'd give the property a 6 out of 10

No air con, which in the week of a heatwave was terrible - especially when the bedroom window opens a tiny amount and the breakfast room windows can’t open at all! The headboard of the bed was flaking also. The whole hotel is a beautiful building and in a fantastic location but is in desperate need of some money investing in it towards refurbishment. Breakfast was tasty, just a shame about the oven you have to sit in to have it. At the moment not worth the money but it really could be with some investment
