This is a unique and characteristic hotel with lots of history and amazing architecture. The scenery, gardens and the estate overall are simply gorgeous. The spa and the outdoor pool area is also very nice especially in good weather (it may be difficult to find a lounger when it is sunny though). The room I stayed in was nicely decorated with wood panellings and period furnitures; bed was very comfortable as well. However, if you love modern luxury, you may be disappointed with the rooms since...

The hotel is in a superb rural location and has a huge field alongside. The room we were given was on the ground floor with a door that gave direct access out to the field that was great for our dog. There are two disabled parking bays nearest the main entrance and reception with a ramp alongside to manage the kerb, however once you reach the main entrance there are two large steps to get into the building. I then found out that there is ramped access at the side through a fire door that only...

Overnight stay as we were visiting Windsor Castle the next day. Great rooms although there is currently some renovation work going on - in fairness work finished quite early and didn't start again until gone 8am. Staff were attentive and food was good - would stay again.

This hotel certainly lived up to the reputation of the Hilton brand. Perfect stay for our early morning flight, and will be choosing to stay again for future early departures / late arrivals.

We stayed here for two nights either side of my investiture at Windsor Castle. The location for Windsor Castle could not have been better. The Castle is pretty much across the road.
The concierges were both exceptionally helpful.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

Top class hotel with great views and bar/restaurant. Lovely breakfast. Lots of good seating areas. Buses right outside....dont pay for the expensive Hoppa!

The best area to stay in Burnham is around the High Street and the Marina for a central and convenient experience.
This area is the heart of Burnham, offering easy access to the waterfront and local amenities. High Street itself is a bustling thoroughfare with a selection of shops, traditional pubs, and eateries, leading directly down to the River Crouch and the Marina. It's a compact and very walkable area.
Couples looking for a relaxing break by the water will find this area particularly appealing. You can enjoy strolls along the riverside, watch the boats at the Marina, and dine at restaurants with views of the water. The proximity to the Burnham Yacht Harbour means easy access for those interested in sailing or waterside activities.
For those seeking a quieter stay with good access to nature, the areas slightly set back from the High Street towards the edge of town, particularly around the residential streets leading to the Mangapps Railway Museum, offer a more peaceful atmosphere.
