"Loved the property, we stayed in the chalet. Facilities are excellent & the buffet breakfast provided was more than ample. Located in a quiet area but very convenient for town centre, a nice walk along the canal takes you into town.
Had a very friendly welcome from James who explained how everything worked.
Definitely stay again if we need accommodation in Romsey."

"We were greated by the kindest host who gave us many helpful tips and made us feel at home. The room was nice, clean and in walking distance/bus distance to city centre - and breakfast was very good. Highly recommend staying here."

"This place was in the most adorable town and made you feel connected to it. The hosts were phenomenal and if you’re lucky you might get a homemade chocolate cake while you’re there."

Very spacious room, extremely clean and comfortable. Fridge stocked with fruit, yogurt, milk, juice and cold water plus snacks. Nice for breakfast. The host was very friendly. Easy parking and really convenient for our trip to Stonehenge.

The Room in the Garden is a lovely space, it was clean, the large bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was spacious and great, especially in the hot weather. In the room was a coffee machine with coffee pods, tea and milk and a TV.
Outside was a lovely shaded patio where we enjoyed a welcome cup of tea when we arrived, and a freshly prepared, very tasty light breakfast the following morning.
The owners and their dog were very friendly and helpful, providing a fan to cope with the heat...

Absolutely perfect hotel. Staff inc Tina, Alex and Luke all great, room perfect - exceptionally clean with a comfy bed. Restaurant stunning, food great and good value - the Carrot Cake really something else! Also best breakfast I’ve had in a long while. Stunning location too

Perfect location opposite Salisbury Cathedral in a very quiet location. Excellent breakfast. Lovely architecture. Helpful staff. This place is basically like staying in a well maintained UK boarding school - but with a little bar and good wifi. The rooms do not have TVs

The decision to provide a stunningly appointed shared lounge/kitchen rather than a fourth bedroom speaks volumes about the proprietors philosophy of providing a truly memorably enjoyable experience for guests.

Property was nicely decorated and, whilst there is no reception, the instructions to gain access were easy and worked well.
The continental breakfast in the room was lovely and well thought through although there was a lack of English Breakfast tea bags which I assume was just because they hadn’t been topped up.
There is no parking at the accommodation but lots of parking in the town centre - it’s only a few minutes walk and I would recommend parking first and then walking to the property as...

The hosts were very welcoming and very engaging. The room was great and extremely comfortable. There was an issue with roadworks and James called me the night before to explain, which I thought was great service.

We were made very welcome & given ideas for where to eat and the best way into town as it was about 15 mins walk. We were able to leave the car outside with a permits given to us.

Prices for B&Bs in Bulford often vary, but you can find a great deal from £55 with Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as location and the time of year. It usually costs more to stay at Bulford B&Bs over the weekend too. Travelers can find the best deals by being flexible with their dates, and by using our filters to sort prices from low to high.
When is the best time to book a Bed & Breakfast in Bulford?
The best time to book a B&B in Bulford is during the late spring and early summer months, particularly in May and June. This period sees vibrant greenery and comfortable temperatures, ideal for those looking to explore the picturesque countryside and historic sites in the area. With average daytime temperatures hovering around the low 20s Celsius, you'll find it pleasant for outdoor activities like walking along the scenic trails or visiting ancient landmarks such as Stonehenge, which is just a short drive away.
As summer progresses into July and August, Bulford attracts more tourists, making it a bustling time for visitors seeking to enjoy outdoor festivals and local events. However, if you prefer a quieter experience while still enjoying favourable weather, May is particularly appealing. It offers the added advantage of fewer crowds, allowing for a more relaxed exploration of the beautiful landscapes and cultural heritage.
For those mindful of their budgets, consider a visit in December. It's cooler, the festive atmosphere, charming decorations, and local holiday markets provide a great experience. This month can be an excellent time to enjoy a peaceful retreat and savour the warm hospitality of the B&Bs, often at more competitive rates.
What is the difference between a Bulford Bed & Breakfast and a hotel?
Every Bulford B&B has its own unique feel. Whether it’s a cozy reading space or a sunlit breakfast nook to enjoy your morning cup of coffee, the quaint details are what make bed and breakfasts a home away from home. Travelers can look forward to personal touches, thoughtful amenities and of course a scrumptious breakfast at Bulford B&Bs.
