Set in a beautiful part of Edinburgh, the hotel is decorated stylishly with an eclectic mix of art and fixtures. The staff are friendly, the room was lovely with a pretty view across the back gardens of buildings on the row. Breakfast was amazing and the service was excellent. I'd definately recommend this hotel and will certainly be back.

Excellent location in Morningside close to Pubs/Restaurants so no need to worry that food is not served on the premises. The rooms are beautiful and cater for all your needs, definitely a warm and luxurious feel to them. The owners have provided a ‘snack room’ for guests which is a simple but genius move on their part which has biscuits, crisps, fizzy drinks, water and milk (to name a few) which is part of your price. We had an amazing stay! Lovely and helpful staff. I am very thankful! I planned a surprise for my partner as it was his birthday, soni asked if they can do it for me, they said they don’t do that but they will note of it but the staff did an extra mile and also gave us free drinks! It was simple but very special, he was surprised! ❤️ thank you so much. We will surely recommend and come back again.

Had a BiggyUp room which was spacious and clean although furniture layout could be improved. Great shower and bathroom.

Adored the lady that checked us in, who assisted us at a later point throughout our stay. The hotel was lovely, clean and warm. The swimming pool was a little cold at first but not too much of a problem. The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was phenomenal, with a continental bar to help yourself to. Our room exceptionally clean. The location of the hotel was perfect and the car parking facilities were very particularly useful - and unusual to find within a city break. The club lounge was also a real treat.

I have never stayed at this hotel before and I will 100% be returning. Super clean, fantastic finish and the bed sheets were so soft! Couldn’t fault a single thing. We stayed on a Saturday night (on floor 9) and you could hear a tiny bit of noise from local streets but did not disturb our sleep one bit. All staff were super friendly too. Fab location too. Thank you so much.

It was absolutely lovely! Very close to Edinburgh Waverley and some lovely restaurants. Calton Hill is right next door as well. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the room was plush and clean. We wish we could stay longer!

Great location, friendly welcoming staff. The room was great with 2 double beds, only downside was one of the duvet covers was covered in holes which was only noticed once the sheets were pulled back to get in. Breakfast was okay but had better hot breakfasts in cheaper hotels. Tv signal kept clitching and rooms are not sound proofed as described as you could here room/corridor doors banging closed. Overall these were just minor issues and would definitely stay again!

The Murrayfield Hotel is the gem of Edinburgh. I had the pleasure of staying 4 nights. It’s a quick bus ride to Edinburgh Castle. In a great old neighbourhood of Edinburgh with excellent local shops, a few restaurants and cafes nearby. The room. My room had very high ceilings with the original plaster work. We cannot recommend this property enough! The location, cleanliness,staff,the upstairs bar, everything was wonderful. Its steps away from the station and everything is walkable. We did not get a taxi or uber once because we were able to walk to most of the locations. I highly recommend this hotel. Will stay again if we visit Edinburgh
