"We stayed at Porters Lodge at Belmont Abbey in Hereford for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and everything we needed for our stay was provided. The surroundings were peaceful, and the overall atmosphere made for a relaxing visit. The only improvement we would suggest is providing a hairdryer in the room, as this would make the accommodation even more convenient for guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Porters Lodge to others."

"The King's Head, Usk is a great place to choose for a night or a longer stay in the area. I was very happy with it: the staff are unfailingly friendly, polite and helpful, the meals are excellent and of generous proportions and the rooms are very pleasant - very clean, comfortable bed and nice touches like a coffee machine which actually works well! One gripe: the beautiful en-suite bathroom had a shower screen which was not big enough to stop the floor from flooding. The bathroom became very wet and damp and no matter how careful I was I ended up soaking the place - loads of damp towels and bath mats everywhere."

"Absolutely wonderful staff and the room was amazing!! The only issue (not their fault) they put me on the top floor and I struggle with stairs a lot as I’m disabled.. so, I booked a small single room but they have a huge room with a double and two singles great bathroom windows that open for air and the bed was great and the hot chocolate n biscuits. But I almost fell asleep my legs died underneath me and I was too shaky for what looked and slightly tasted like a fab breakfast. I was just too shaky from the stairs and felt bit sick but I tasted it. On a normal day I’d have had the lot. A great hotel in a fab location. I’ll definitely stay again. Thanks to Mike the manager .. just wish you had an elevator! Thanks again for a fab room."
