"Great property. There is a small check in desk just behind the bar area. Staff at check were super friendly. Room clean and spacious and super king size bed really comfortable. We had a room for 3-4 so had a super king size and then a single bed in the room. Would definitely use again when in the area. O my downsize was it’s quite costly for a pub hotel at £125. "

"Great place to stay, room was comfortable and clean and the shower was amazing. The best part was the restaurant though, it is worth coming here just for the venison pie alone! Genuinely the best pie I’ve ever had and the staff on that evening were incredibly friendly and professional. I spend 4 nights away a week for work and I will definitely be booking in here again!"

"The service was great and the locationanazing. The walls however were very thin and we could hear all the noise from the pub and the kitchen downstairs in the morning. Also there was an emergency exit light in the room which was very large and therefore it lit the whole room up and disturbed our sleep. "

"Our second stay here and excellent once again especially as the owners kindly accepted a change of plans due to one of our dogs requiring medical care. The house is clean, warm, tidy and well thought out. Parking is plentiful and easy. Access to the forest is literally across the road directly onto a path that has not changed in the 50 years I’ve been walking it. "Beautiful, clean home from home with stunning views and nature all around. Tucked away in a field that gave us the beautiful peace and tranquility we wanted but only a short drive from the lovely markets and shops of Abergavenny. We loved it and will be back. Thank you."
