"Its a great location with spectacular views of the Avon Gorge ... Good size rooms and facilities. What could improve is dining and weird connection to next door pub, i was happy to have eaten dinner in hotel restaurant, but on a warm evening you have to sit inside (no access to terrace), for outside sitting you have to go to the pub (which is connected to the hotel) and queue (very slow) to order ... surely this would be better if you sorted this out. "

"The facilities and presentation of the hotel was excellent. Location is perfect. Bedrooms comfortable and roomy. Bar service very good. Breakfast food was good but service was poor. Clearing tables all around was slow including our table. "

"We stayed for four nights, our first time in Bristol. The hotel was a choice we would happily make again. The location was very good, being central and easily accessed (we travelled there by train; I imagine a car would be an encumbrance. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were very helpful. We ate one evening meal in the hotel bistro, which was good and reasonably priced. Our breakfasts were excellent - especially to be commended was that they were able to provide very good choice and care for the one of us who has Coeliac disease."

"Located within walking distance from the Bristol Temple Meads station, this hotel is fine. The room I was in is quite big with a comfortably firm bed. For those who are into the retro 2000s era style, this is the hotel to be in. The room is a bit dated, but at least they do a good job in up keeping the interior."

"Very nice hotel in the city centre. The staff is nice. We had a nice room on the 11th floor. The only slide negative (but we didn’t ask) is that there was a bath tube rather than a shower with low entry. That’s prügelt preference. "
