Spacious room. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed (pillows weren't to my liking). Couch was ok. Incredible view! Surprisingly quiet other than usual city noise. Terrific location.

My recent stay at a well-known five-star hotel offered spacious rooms and commendable amenities like a swimming pool and spa. However, it didn't entirely live up to the five-star standard. The bed and kitchen were adequate, but the bathroom experience was disappointing. A poorly designed shower led to water flooding the bathroom floor, a mishap not expected at such a reputed hotel. The solution offered by the hotel staff, extra towels, seemed like a temporary fix rather than a proper resolution. While the hotel shines in some aspects, this experience left me questioning its commitment to the luxury and service expected from a five-star establishment.

Hershell street great location for your stay
The staff at front desk checkin were friendly and polite. We arrived just before check I time and only had to wait about 10 minutes for our room to be ready.The bed and pillows were comfortable with a tv in the bedroom we could watch our own show each.With a dining table ,lounge and tv,full size refrigerator,oven and hot plates ,dishwasher coffee machine and plenty of pantry space for food is a great feature if staying for more than a few nights.Also there was a washing machine , dryer and laundry sink if you need to some washing.The only thing that let them down was the design of the shower door unfortunately when you opened it to step out the water ran out and soaked the floor and bath mat.This property was located just a 5minute walk from the Roma street train station.Another 5minute walk and you where down on the the river walk along the river and also the pedestrian bridge across the river to southbank and it’s attractions and if you are attending an event at Suncorp stadium you have a choice of train,bus or comfortable walk there and back(I attended the Pink concert so caught train there and walked back )also very easy stroll to queen street mall for shopping and cafes,restaurants.Over all the stay was excellent except for the minor shower problem but I would definitely come back and stay here in the future.

Property was great, front desk staff good, but it was a shock to find out that it costs $40 a day to park your car! We only arrived in the evening staying two nights (so a little over a day - still costing $80 total). This was not on any where on the booking site before I booked, or on my booking confirmation. I have stayed on Brisbane before and never paid like that for parking.

There were a couple of hiccups which the staff sorted out very efficiently. The staff on the front desk were very friendly and all inquiries handled in an extremely pleasant way.

Check in was complicate as they would not accept the Amex on my phone - its a company card and the only access I have. Finally got there. Reported leaking tap in kitchen 3 times - got repaired on the last day. usually stay at the Merition in Adelaide st - Herschel seems tired and run down. Recepitonist was nice - but all a bit clunky

It is right across from Roma Station, very easy to get to from the airport via train. The check in and check out were a breeze. Walking distance to the shopping area and across the river to the South Bank area.

A real bonus. Ideal location for all tourist activities with the city being easily walkable but with all transport links on the doorstep. Plenty of good coffee shops and places to eat nearby. Excellent spacious facilities within the apartment making my stay a very comfortable and relaxing. It has the added advantage of a 20m swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and efficient ensuring that my overall stay was excellent.

Not clean enough. Hair in three rooms, had to ask for staff to attend to the drain smell and mould in bathroom. Stayed five nights - room ‘serviced’ once. Would not stay again
