"Beautiful property, really clean and perfect little breakfast in the fridge in room. Lovely texts from Arden to make sure I was ok and if I needed anything. Rooms would benefit from some black out curtains to complement the lovely blinds, however there was a sleep/eye mask provided which was appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, felt very comfortable and safe as a single female traveler."

"Amazing views! All the amenities you need for a carefree stay. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms! Many steps and parking can be tricky, but not a problem for myself or my elderly parents! Loved our stay! "

"We felt that the room was not cleaned properly, we found hairs on the bedding and in the bathroom, more attention needed, the room was light and airy, basic provisions of fridge, shared bathroom although we didn’t see any other guests when we stayed."

"The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...

"Let’s be straight here, this is not a guest house. It’s a house with the rooms poorly converted to bedrooms. There is no fire detection, or prevention. No secondary means if escape. My room wasn’t serviced once in the the 4 days I stopped. The description is shockingly deceptive. No WiFi, you have to provide your own loo roll and the place is very very noisy and the other guests have no consideration. "A place to sleep at. This is a room in a shared house. The room beard no resemblance to the picture on the site. You cannot gain access to your booked and paid for room until you have paid 15 pounds extra (for cleaning). I was literally made to stand in the rain while speaking to the person who is supposed to give me access to the room on the phone.I was literally bullied into either paying or just walk away. "This is a horrible dirty house on a council estate and not the photo that you see in the picture - we had booked and paid for this not knowing any of this about 6 months ago - when we arrived - we were told that the room had been given to someone else - we were abused verbally and aggressively by the owner - who followed us when we went to my car to phone the police - he denied he was on Expedia - refused to give us our money - the police now have all this information - DON'T GO ANYWHERE NEAR...
