The only concern I had was they never responded about their airport shuttle service... Everything was great at the hotel...

Ideal family hotel.
Location is ideal, a short walk to the beach and the Mall. Our room is big enough but definitely needs an update. The bathroom especially. We loved the swimming pool though as not all hotels in Boracay has a huge pool like this one for the price at BHR.

Its a good place to stay for family
Staff are friendly nut they need to know more about, perhaps some in-house orientation about the tourism industry, Boracay so they can provide some insights on where to go and how to go about things. Rooms are decent. Water is strong, No internet though as a result of the recent typhoon. Breakfast was satisfying. The road towards the beach near the hotel is not nice and dirty. Perhaps because of the typhoon?

Very Poor
First time I have left a review on a hotel and I have stayed in hotels around 40 nights in the last 3 years. We went for breakfast the first morning only to find the breakfast was served cold and very limited. We did not attend breakfast for the remaining 2 mornings however we had friends staying at the resort at a different hotel who was happy to accept the breakfast coupon and they too complained that the breakfast was served cold, even at 6am when breakfast opened. The mattress was not great and the pillows was terrible. The taps and shower tap was wobbly and lose and felt like they could give up at any moment. We had secure safe for the first day due to no availability and on the second day we managed to receive a safe, delivered to our room but the safe was faulty and we was told the safe would be replaced and delivered back to our room but this never happened. Initially we was placed in a room with a window view which I can only describe as looking like a damaged roof of a damaged garden shed. Then on our second day we see a dead rat at the bottom of the stairs. This dirty dead rat was present for over 48 hours before being removed. I can report more issues too but I am running out of space. Overall not a great experience and would not recommend to anyone accept my enemies.

Great stay
Great stay. Location is great, only a quick walk to the beach. Breakfast had a great selection. Pool is very nice and quiet, most people go to the beach and swim. Beach is very crowded. Life guards at the pool very friendly and always smiling. My original room was located next to a patio for smoking. First 2 nights were fine, but then smokers moved to that floor and were smoking all night playing music. I don’t smoke. I requested a new room and front desk was very helpful. They moved me away from smoking patio to back of hotel. New room was very quiet and no smokers around. Great service overall. I would recommend this hotel. Be sure if you don’t smoke to ask for room away from smoking patios.

Basic budget hotel.
The hotel itself is ok. It is located within walking distance to the beach. It is near the main road as well so easily accessible. MacDonald’s. Jollybee, souvenir and coffee shops are nearby. The pool is nice and well cared for. The pool side bar/grill is adequate. The breakfast is very typical (cold cereal, breads, eggs, longanisa, powdered “juice” drinks, etc.). There is tea and brewed coffee, as well as whole milk. The room is ok. Beds are basic (thin mattress on wood frame). The bathroom is good. Hot water and everything is functional. Room cleaning is only available on request. Amenities consist of a few small bars of soap and 2 packets of shampoo. The drinking water and soap are not replaced when the room is cleaned. We had to request toilet paper even after they cleaned the room. There is no elevator. This is important. On our second night there a man was checking in who had reserved a ground floor room and was told there were none available. He had leg problems and the stairs were difficult for him. We reserved a double bed. We were given two twin beds. We were told that there were no double beds available. The staff is laid back, friendly and attentive. Wifi is slow but mostly working. If you are on a budget and want a step above the hostel this is an option. I will not stay here next time.

My go to hotel
I have no complaint about this hotel. This hotel has everything I need. Nice clean room, hot water, excellent WiFi, swimming pool, and close to places I need to go. such as talipapa,d’mall and of course the beach. I am very pleased with the breakfast in the morning and I have to say, that the staff in this hotel provide me with an excellent customer service. This is the 3rd time that I have stayed at this hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed with my family in this hotel and it was indeed a wonderful experience. Breakfast menu is different everyday. Staffs are nice and helpful. Will stay here again.

Good hot water and nice pool are the high points but I had other problems the first night. They have a table right outside my door with chairs. Late at night people would sit there and smoke while talking loudly. I had to ask two groups to be quiet at 1 and 4 AM. I finally got the staff to move the table after 3 requests so I could get some. The table was finally removed but some guy was putting it back when I got back at 11 at night. I had to inform him again about the noise. Don’t get room 303 because i’m Sure they put the table back after I left. There is a large balcony one floor down to accommodate smokers so that table is not necessary. Not real smart to put a table there so close to the rooms. Also it’s impossible to get to the beach from the road at times because of the taxi traffic. The gym is just OK but the eliptical readout doesn’t work

Noisy air con but I was barely in the room. Window faced a building wall but again I was barely in the room. Room is good enough to sleep in. Wouldn’t really be hanging out in the hotel.

4 day getaway
The staff were fantastic, the hotel was in a great location and great value for money. The WIFI was intermittent in the room but quite good in the lobby. The breakfast was limited but still good.The staff attended to any issues quickly & efficiently. The bed was a little hard but the room was spacious and clean. Great water pressure and hot water. The pool was great and free towels from the front desk.

Beware bed bugs!
Staff were excellent! Breakfast food was ok. On our second night we found bed bugs bites on my daughter and I, my sister and her son, and my cousin's girlfriend. We all have separate rooms. Pool was great! Alcoholic drinks was okay though. Great location. Property is good, I would recommend it if not for the bed bugs. My husband and my cousin are lucky, no bites!

Good Location close to the beach and Boracay Regency with a gorgeous pool area....but everything else needs a major revision. Very "dated" property and NO elevator. We were on the 3rd floor - lots of stairs...not a comfortable bed - room needs to be REFRESHED / REDECORATED. Very weak breakfast buffet - horrible table cloths and 1960's looking color scheme in lobby. Where is a GAY decorator when you need one? This place could be CHARMING if only there was a budget and some imagination!

Great hotel. Stayed only one night. Free wifi in the lobby and free breakfast was delicious. Nice pool and gym. Small hotel but hospitable. Only issue would be the beds. They were not very comfortable since the mattresses were way too firm for my liking. Other than that, not bad for a budget hotel.

A Good Budget Choice
We didn't have any real problems here. The room was clean and comfortable and fairly quiet. Selection of TV channels was good and AC and hot water functioned well. Get a room away from the Main Road if you want quiet. 5 minute walk to White Beach.

Lovely Stay at the Boracay Holiday Resort
Stayed 8 nights here in February 2015. Located next to a main road, so was very noisy with trikes throughout the night...however, I always travel with earplugs, so wasn't a big deal. Shower pressure was hit or miss, but nothing atrocious. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. There is a really nice, well-maintained pool, and a fitness center too which has some nice equipment. Overall it was a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

Valentine day stay
It's a very decent hotel for the price. The rooms are fairly basic and has few problems like the shower. The pool is very well maintained. Free breakfast was fantastic, and even treated the guest for free Valentine's dinner which was nice. Location is great as everything is accessible with a few minutes walk. Staff was pleasant and helpful. It's a very decent option for those with average budget!

Staff were great, facilities decent. Value is arguable but Boracay is overpriced compared to the rest of South east Asia at new years. My personal preference would be a hotel in a different location in a quieter part of the beach which was possible. But if you want to share the beach with thousands of people and be close to the D'mall, then location is very good.
