Felt welcome as soon as we arrived, Thelma & Ronnie are a super friendly couple who make you feel at home. Room was spacious, clean & had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious & cooked exactly to our liking. The garden/pool area of this guest house is a super area to relax & spend time chatting & indeed drinking with the owners & other guests

The hotel is about 20 minutes by uber from the town which was perfect. Right by the beach and also an excellent 30 minute walk along the beach to the nearest town and bars. Faultless.Period building with immaculate grounds.Large lounge and library to relax in if you didnt want to enjoy the pool and gardens. Excellent location very safe and quiet,but ideally located to explore Cape Town.If there is a better place to stay i would be extremely surprised.Breakfast gets the day of to a memorable start.Staff know what customer service is all about.I will return.Thank you to all concerned.

Fantastic location and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Amber on reception was incredibly helpful.
The room was magnificent and large with a veranda and incredible view. The bed was comfortable and the resort very quiet.
Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Seeing the resident springbok and other wild animals that live and roam in the area was such a treat too.
Would definitely recommend the Lodge and will stay again.

Very much home from home with a very friendly and helpful owners.
