The rooms are beautiful, beds super comfortable, great bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent and the honesty bar was the best-stocked bar we have ever seen with drinks we've never even heard of! Just a few minutes drive from local shops and restaurants and only about a 20-minute drive from the centre of Cape town. We had a room overlooking the pool which although small, it was heated and great for a dip. There is a perfect restaurant within a five minute walk which was ideal for lighter lunches downstairs and a more formal upstairs for the evening. Wir besuchten das Gästehaus schon mal 2011 und wurden sofort wiedererkannt. Großzügige Räumlichkeiten (Aufenthaltsräume und Zimmer). Alles exquisit ausgestattet. Ausgezeichnete und gepflegte Lage. Ruhig gelegen in Strandnähe (Tafelbergblick!) und außerhalb vom Touristenrummel. 100m vor dem Haus beste Busverbindung (halbstundentakt) nach Kapstadt. Busfahrt zwar 1 Std. aber genußvoll, außerdem entfällt Parkplatzsuche in Kapstadt. Preis-Leistung stimmen hier absolut! Die Zimmer sind großzügig, sauber, hell und modern eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und hat uns alle Wünsche erfüllt. Wir hatten das Zimmer Nr. 1 (wohl das Zimmer mit der besten Lage/dem besten Blick) mit eigenem Balkon und Blick auf das Meer. Das Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe nach unseren Wünschen zubereitet. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Gegend erschien uns sehr sicher. In unmittelbarer Nähe zu dem Hotel gibt es einige sehr gute und günstige Restaurants.
