"Overall this was a good stay, helped by the very helpful and friendly staff and the large, quite comfortable room. Oh, and the evening meal was v. nice on both evenings (if a little pricey) However .... my room (number 6) had a window that just would not close properly, which was concerning and a bit chilly. Also, the TV reception was virtually non-existant. I did ask, but was given some explanation about work being underway to do something to something on the roof."

"Bedding, towels, bathrooms were all clean but the lodge itself needed a bit of TLC in places. Broome Park is a beautiful setting and the golf is amazing. Loved exploring the nearby areas. Overall a great holiday and at a good price via Expedia 👍"

"We like the convenience of the hotel and the beds and rooms are nicely clean and the cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. However the reception staff are not that friendly and will ignore you unless you speak directly to them. I am unused to that in a hotel reception. It would be good if they were more welcoming and proactively pleasant. And although the breakfast is included it is just cereal and breads. The full breakfast is a bit of a disappointment and I recommend going elsewhere."

"Lovely place to stay. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with amenities. This was a key box venue, (so no reception or check-in) so I never actually met the hosts or staff, so can't really comment on the service. However everything seemed well maintained and all information provided in the room. The only downside is the noise factor from other guests, which is not really the hosts fault. My room (The Becket) was downstairs right next to the front door of the property, which meant every time a quest arrived and punched in the code to their key box to get their keys, it felt like someone was knocking on my wall. When the guests entered, the front door slammed shut and this shook the wall and windows in my room. This can happen at any time during the night, so not great if you are a light sleeper, which I am not and it still woke me up. It is street parking and the location is lovely, just a short walk to the seafront with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants nearby. I would recommend this place, just try and avoid the downstairs rooms if noise bothers you."

"Best hotel we have stayed in when visiting family in Cliftonville over the past 2.5 years. If we were being picky then asked for decaf tea but actually given green tea, so had to be thrown away and no cranberry juice at the bar. Overall, it was an excellent hotel and definitely where we will be staying when we visit again. Staff were very helpful and a credit to the hotel."

"We thoroughly enjoyed joyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful and inviting. Breakfast buffet was wonderful and we really enjoyed our dinner in the Churchill lounge and Bar. Bathroom was great rnjoyed the heated towels!! Only comment,is our rooms floor slanted and so our heads were higher then our feet while sleeping and we felt lije we were slipping off the bed. . The slant also made you lose your balance. Other then that we loved it all."

"The property is outstanding. Absolutely outstanding. This has got to be one of my all time fav hotels. And the spa was the cherry on top. I stayed in a manor luxe room - beautiful! The staff are busy, so don’t expect anything quick. Shambolic is a good way to explain the staffing! The lady behind the bar needs customer service training. Her huffing and puffing was not appreciated when ordering drinks. Above all, even with the shambolic faulty tower style staff I loved my stay!"
