Great litlle B&B really friendly and just a nice short walking distance from Instow beach. Breakfast was great and little touches like afternoon cakes just added to the experience.

Checked okay parking was close, the lift was out of order so walked to room not really a problem, but staff member sent me me on a 10min walk around the hotel with their instructions on how to get to the room, I later discovered a much quicker way using an alternative staircase, room was clean and well maintained. WiFi not the best but definitely useable. I cannot comment on food as I didn't eat in the hotel but there are some nice restaurants nearby.

10 out of 10 very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Walking the SWCP and this hotel was perfect for my needs. It was clean, friendly staff and the onsite pub/restaurant served good quality food. Highly recommended

Amazing quiet and beautiful

We stayed six nights and enjoyed it immensely. There is a real homely feeling to the hotel. There were a few niggles but you get them wherever you go. The staff were polite, friendly and most attentive. The bar and restaurant were more than satisfactory and the heated outdoor pool was a brilliant addition. We will definitely be going back especially since my partners friend is residing in Bideford now and we will happily reserve a room at Durant House Hotel whenever we visit.

The cottage was easy to locate following instructions. The cottage was very clean and tidy. We had 1 minor problem which was dealt with very quickly. We met the owner who was very nice and chatty The price we paid was very reasonable and worth every penny. Will definitely book again

We chose this cottage due to its location in Appledore and that it's dog friendly. We stayed in Apple Tree cottage. It was a lovely surprise to see what lay behind the No 5 door. The cottage was clean and cosy. Tastefully decorated. It was well equipped with what you need for a comfortable stay. Free WiFi. TV with Net Flix etc.Nice bathroom with bath and shower. It is close to all the amenities Appledore has to offer. It is an ideal base to discover North Devon, which is beautiful. The garden...
