"The room was clean and the beds squeaky but comfy. The room wasn't the biggest, but I was travelling alone so not a problem. Faults; the edges of the desk in the bedroom looked like something has chewed them, the Aircon wasn't working, and there was a slight leak from the toilet waste pipe. But, seeing as this room looks like an original from the 1990s that's only to be expected. Other than that, the room was in very good condition."

"Excellent location for the racing - stayed 3 nights in total which included parking. It was a little run down but very good value for money. Had microwave, kettle and fridge in the room, with tea coffee sugar and milk. Room was clean, a little run down in places with marks on the wall etc, windows a little dirty, but nothing overly bad. The bed was comfy and clean. Toilet and bathroom clean and shower was very good. Would recommend and we will be staying again. I had read the reviews and was a little worried but for the price it does what it says on the tin. All communication was specific and had no problems at all."

"Just a one night stop over .. Room clean Staff friendly and helpful, Lady who covered the breakfast was AMAZING, she worked so hard to meet everyone's needs. On a negative..the bacon , felt like it had been cooked a while, so had become dry and very hard to eat ... We throughly enjoyed our evening meal ...everything was DELICIOUS"

"Clean and good sized room as you expect at a Doubletree. However the safe didn’t work as ‘it needed charging’ and the bed was so hard I think the floor may have had more give."

"A lovely, old-style (in a good way) place. Beautifully decorated & furnished. THE most comfortable bed ever. Indulgent toiletries, plenty of hot water in a powerful shower. Pretty gardens and a lovely glass of wine on the terrace. A really good find."
