"Lovely stay, location was ideal for us being close to family and the venue of our event. The entrance was clean and tidy and the welcome by staff was great, The room itself was a little tired (mainly the bathroom) but everything worked well. A fridge in the room would have been nice. Our cleaner Lisa, although we didn’t meet her, always left our room lovely, replacing the towels and resetting the room perfectly. A big thank you to her for finding my husband’s watch our daughter hid. Standout service so thank you. The pool was lovely, lessons were going on but didn’t interfere with our leisure time. Again the changing rooms a little tired but no issues with them. Husband said the gym was good so I’ll take his word for that. Would have been better if this facility opened slightly earlier on the weekend for convenience but we also visited in the afternoon too. There was a couple of weddings going on for our second night but was pleasantly surprised we weren’t disturbed by the music or wedding guests. Would return to the hotel, good value for money."

"I have no sense of smell but the missus said it stunk of ciggarette smoke. The facilities were good espevially a fridge and microwave we both had bedside tables with nightlights wehad a great sleep bed and pillows wete very comfortable the wife would prefer white sheets not dark blue. We had the wi dows open and the skund of the. Minster bells was lovely not to loud to wake us upparking in the nearby streets with the resident pass was easy. This is a cheap and cheerful hotel. I go away to do things not to sit in hotels this was perfect for me ladies would like more luxury maybe a womans touch i got evetything i wanted snd needed. Beverly lovely ave worth a visit friday night bank on in the nearby sun inn{queen} night food a d oubs in centre 10 minute walk."

"You cant go wrong with this place. Staff cant do enough to help, even made our dog so very welcome, beautiful gardens and surroundings, fab breakfast, beautiful room and definitely best hotel we have ever stayed in. If you want to be made very welcome in a beautiful hotel then stay here."
