"Initial impression down an ordinary street in a built up suburb was not great, but once inside the quirky, bohemian accommodation we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was comfortable and Laurence, our host, was very friendly. She gave us recommendations for dinner and tips on getting into Bordeaux via tram. "Lovely boutique hotel in a stunning building. We had a lovely grand room with a small balcony overlooking the avenue. Slightly quirky room with the bathroom open and behind the bed, but great size and decor. Only downside was having no tea/coffee facilities in the room as they are available on the landing."

"Warm welcome from Estelle with helpful guidance for local points of interest and restaurants. Shower was very good with hot water operating without any wait time. Breakfast was all of good quality, home made approach with apples pick from her tree each morning, and cooked eggs from her free range hens were offered. Very nice secure countryside house."

"A beautiful place and just right for our overnight stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful and his English is very good. The room is very comfortable and the dual aspect windows overlook some lovely countryside. Breakfast was delightful-all laid out in a breakfast room with homemade jams etc to go with the french bread and croissants. We didn’t get chance to even see the pool as the weather was cool but we hope to visit again and try it out!"
