Really lovely stay - everything was excellent from the room, the staff, the spa facilities and the cafe to the food, the overall quality and the friendliness. Wonderful experience!
Nice hotel in golf course setting in country location south of the M4. Our room was a long walk from reception through multiple fire doors. Arriving at 2am with luggage was a challenge.
My first stay at this hotel and it really was excellent. All the staff went out of their way to help and everywhere was spotless. My only bit of feedback would be that if you prefer to be able to open a window at night, do not stay on the ground floor of the Blue area - my room had french doors which ...
Good service. The hotel was in a quiet place. The rooms were clean and equipped. Worth for the money we paid!

Great stay at the crazy fox again! Firstly check-in, super friendly & easy - the service is always great. The Royal County of Berkshire combines gorgeous countryside with modern towns, historical attractions and romantic restaurants. At just 50 miles from London and easily accessible by road or rail, beautiful Berkshire will take your breath away. From castles such as Highclere and Windsor to cosy cafés in Eton, you'll find plenty to celebrate in Berkshire. When John of Gaunt married Blanche, daughter of Henry Duke of Lancaster on May 19th, 1359 at Reading Abbey, the celebrations lasted for twelve days. With stately homes and walks through meadows, ancient woodland and intimate pubs, it's a genuinely romantic place too. So why not say 'I do' to a wedding hotel in Berkshire, and make sure the Big Day is something to remember for all the right reasons?
While you might be too busy thinking about the flowers, whether the caterers are going to turn up on time and where you're going to house all those guests, there's still plenty to see and do in Berkshire. Escape the planning and madness for a few hours and head to Cliveden, a gorgeous stately home that once belonged to the American businessman, newspaper publisher and politician William Waldorf Astor. If you need to grab 'something new or blue' for the ceremony, then Reading is a popular market town and one of the largest urban centres in Berkshire. Forming part of the London commuter belt, the area around Reading has been a settlement since Roman times and with its abbey remains, Forbury Gardens and ruined castles nearby is testament to both its heritage and its links with royalty.
Wedding hotels in Berkshire are delightfully dreamy. They offer everything you need from outstanding service to excellent facilities to ensure the best possible start to married life.
