"The staff were very welcoming on arrival and helpfully already had our room key sorted. The hotel was pleasant and clean though it should be noted that our room was very, very warm. This had been appreciated by the staff in advance by the placement of a fan in the room. We recognised that this could not be helped due to the heatwave and the lack of air con in an old building but we appreciated the effort. "
