The Oakley Court is a beautiful hotel in really lovely grounds on the banks of the Thames. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere and decoration of the beautiful public rooms. The bar menu was excellent and the food delicious. We had paid for breakfast for 4 but missed it as breakfast ...

Nice hotel in golf course setting in country location south of the M4. Our room was a long walk from reception through multiple fire doors. Arriving at 2am with luggage was a challenge.

Hotel is very clean and modern. The hotel receptionist on arrival was rude and short tempered, however the door man and bar staff was friendly. Needs better sound proof windows. The shower was amazing and there bathroom products are lush. Perfect location to city centre.

Berkshire is in the south of England to the west of London. Surrounded by Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire to the north, Wiltshire to the west and Hampshire and Surrey to the south, Berkshire is a delightful county that has more than its fair share of historical interest. Dating back to at least 860AD, Berkshire has seen battles fought and castles destroyed and writers schooled and jailed. Nowadays it combines gentle countryside with pretty villages and market towns, heritage attractions with modern facilities.
Many people visit Berkshire and head for Windsor to see the castle, yet with bungee jumping, indoor go karting, 4x4 driving and jet skiing to be found, the county also has plenty in store for those are seeking an adrenalin rush too. Stay in an adventure sport hotel in Berkshire, but get out and about and explore what else this county has available too.
Berkshire has plenty to offer the adventurous traveller. Windsor Great Park lies just south of Windsor on the Surrey-Berkshire border. It was once part of a huge Norman hunting forest and is now 2,020 hectares of ancient woodland, exotic gardens and sweeping parkland. Stroll down the Long Walk toward Windsor Castle, explore Cranbourne Tower (built by the Earl of Ranelagh in the reign of Charles II), or stumble across the Totem Pole, gifted to the Queen in 1958 by the people of Canada.
Other sights include the Living Rainforest - a charity and amazing indoor tropical rainforest in Hampstead Norreys. This visitor attraction, ecological and education centre was converted from an orchid nursery in 1993. The Living Rainforest is fully wheelchair accessible and home to over 700 species of plants and animals including butterflies and monkeys, toucans and armadillos. There are also talks, workshops and family events all taking place under a canopy of leaves. Enjoy your stay in an adventure sport hotel in Berkshire, but remember to get out and about in the great outdoors too!

Facilities are excellent while rooms include room service, laundry and WiFi. Rooms are available in a range of sizes with some accessible rooms also available if booked in advance.
