"This was the perfect place for a family get-together. All the bedrooms are lovely and the lounge/dining areas are perfect for such a large group. The property is extremely well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. Every room is perfectly and evenly heated in the colder weather and wood-burning stoves add a lovely focal point. "Lovely cottage, we all loved it. Could do with smaller glass bowls and jugs for microwave use as plates are too large to fit in. Parking is on road but road is quiet. Church chimes every quarter hour so if you are a light sleeper take eat plugs. Overall we enjoyed the area. The angel inn just down the road is very good, food good and well presented. Stairs in property a bit precarious, needs a handle near the doors to bedrooms as nothing to get hold of for two steps."

"The property had loads of character, the rooms were all as described and it was well stocked (bathrooms, toys, games/puzzles, kitchen etc) Was perfect for a family weekend getaway for 8 of us. Location was quiet, but we weren’t after a busy town/village on this occasion. Only downside was a slight smell of sewerage or possibly rodent urine in the upstairs bathroom that may be needs looking into. But overall a great stay and everyone enjoyed the property, thank you."

"Beautiful house, perfect for a large family gathering. Down sides: 2 main bedrooms don't have doors, so not ideal if some people want to stay up while others sleep. Biggest gripe; absolutely zero basic provisions (eg tea bags, coffee, milk, salt & pepper etc) which I think it's reasonable to expect at this price. Really not great having to do a half hour round trip to tescos after driving up from brighton, just so we could have a cup of tea on arrival. Feel that the excuse may be covid-related...

"Overall very good - a very clean and well appointed cottage, nicely furnished, really great kitchen facilities and cosy sitting room with the wood burner going. Bedrooms in the roof and windows relatively high so feels a little claustrophobic. Bathroom as well as a Jack and Jill shower room off master bedroom are both modern and very well appointed but little privacy if you are travelling with those other than close family. All in all a great stay in a nice location."
