The Coach House Suffolk

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent room staff and breakfast Next to East Anglia Transport museum"

Decoy Barn

8/10 Good

"This is a deceptively lovely place to stay. The driveway opens into a courtyard with plenty of parking and the accommodation is accessed through the entrance/ breakfast room into another courtyard. Everything is on one level with an easily accessible shower. The outlook is across the garden then fields. This property is alongside a country road but it’s quiet 11pm-6.30am."

The Fieldhouse: Cosy Pet-Friendly Norfolk Broads Retreat

8/10 Good

"Ideal for a solo traveller or two people on a short break. Very cosy and comfortable with essential needs. We took two working dogs that stayed in their own dog boxes overnight... their was plenty of fields around the area to let dogs stretch their legs and do their business. Where we stayed it is not ideal to let dogs off their leads as there are no fence or gate to keep dogs secure and safe. Ideal for small dogs in the lodge who are house trained and don't explore or wonder off.Location is ideal with lots of history and natural landscapes along the journeys ahead to visit.Books about Norfolk where left to your leisure to things to do.Recommend Horsey and Holkham Estate to see hundreds of wild seals and fallow deer close by. Cromer, Well- next the sea, Blickley Estate, Great Yarmouth and Norwich Cathedral are a must... plenty of churches and nature reserves we visited. We both enjoyed our stay in Norfolk and the week went so fast, lucky to have beautiful weather which was a bonus. Love to visit Norfolk again to see different areas we didnt visit, there is so much to do.Thanks to Glenn & Georgie for having us in their home."

Luxury Air Conditioned holiday Lodge . sleeps 5 Burgh Castle Great Yarmouth

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing accommodation with all home comforts and everything needed for a great stay. Good communication with host Graham, so friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Lodge on a nice quiet park, lovely position! Superb decking area with plenty of seating, swing seat was lovely! Bedrooms spacious with comfortable beds, two shower rooms, kitchen well equipped, recliner chairs in lounge very comfortable! All in all a very pleasant, relaxing stay, definitely recommend and hoping to book for next year! Thank you Graham"

The Wolf Inn

10/10 Excellent

"I stayed at the Wolf Inn's guest house which operated an entry system through a door code. This worked well and gave me 24/7 access to my room which was great. The room was a decent size for me but may be a little tight for two people if they have lots of luggage. I didn't see (or need to see) any staff during my stay but the room was turned daily in my absence. No breakfast facilities but available in the pub just across the road and other places nearby. There was also no on-site parking but free parking was available a couple of minutes away. I was sent a message by the hotel that clearly explained everything. The location next to Oulton Broad is lovely and there's a wonderful walk/run around the marshes less than a mile away."

Lord Derby, Cottage with pool & hot tub, tranquil setting,20min from Southwold

10/10 Excellent

"We needed a quiet and peaceful break away with my parents. Mum is caring 100% of the time for Dad as his mobility is not as great as it used to be and both needed the escape from the same four walls and a bit of pampering. We found the Lord Derby Cottage, and thought it looked perfect. When we arrived it was just what they both needed. The whole cottage was laid out with enough room for the walker to move around, and twin beds for them as they could get a good night’s sleep with out disturbing the other one. The kitchen was perfect to cook in, most equipment was provided where we made a couple of nights of homemade meals for them to enjoy and save Mum from slaving away in the kitchen. We enjoyed the onsite pool, it was a really good size, did a few lengths and then decided to go straight from there into the cottages hot tub. Mum even joined us, Dad sat outside on the bench provided and caught a few rays of sunshine too. That was great fun, and very relaxing. There is a games room with pool table and videos galore, a games console too. There is peace and quiet there. Nick, our host was a lovely chap and available if there were any issues. Our parents enjoyed their stay very much, I can see them coming back again, with maybe their friends, I know they have recommended the accommodation already to a few of them. The site is suitable for all ages, it has a play ground for little ones and 5 shepherd huts to rent too. Lovely lovely place."
