"There was no cooked breakfast sadly, but there was a good range of items for the continental breakfast. I stayed in the extension and I felt the rooms need updating, they were clean but a little small. It is such a beautiful setting and I felt that area of the hotel needs more to make it more attractive. I stayed on a very hot weekend but there is no AC and only a small fan. As a result the room was stiflingly hot! Future summers may also be hotter so unpleasant nights need to be better prepared for!"

"The hotel is in a brilliant location. Extremely friendly, helpful and professional staff at the front desk. No real problems at all, except for the guests in the room above ours who seemed to be stomping around and moving furniture in their room from 5am. Lovely to hear the church bells ringing! ❤️ would definitely recommend and use again! Thank you to ALL staff! Xx"

"Stayed in garden flat (only toilet is in the 2nd bedroom, so not very private). However it is level access. Beautiful old building with fab young staff, especially Cain who soeted"

"We did not like the view on 4th floor. One of their lifts was out of action and shower wasn't very strong to use. The breakfast was good in the variety of food u could choose to have.."
