"HAD A CORNER BALCONY ROOM, HOWEVER NO FURNITURE ON BALCONY SO COULD NOT SIT OUT THERE WITH A DRINK TO ENJOY IT. MAY AS WELL NOT HAVE A BALCONY IF NO CHAIRS ON IT. ROOM WAS DISABLED ACCESSIBILITY ROOM. TOILET WAS TOO HIGH, SINK WAS TOO LOW, SHOWER ONLY DID A LITTLE DRIBBLE AND NOT EFFECTIVELY USABLE. YOU GET A WELCOME DRINK, BUT THIS IS JUST SOME "PUNCH" AND NOT TOLD WHATS IN IT. BED MATTRESS WAS TOO SOFT, BAD BACK IN MORNING. KETTLE AND DRINKS STATION WAS ON ONE OF THE BEDSIDE TABLES. SCALDING RISK. SHOULD BE ON A SEPARATE SHELF IN AREA AWAY FROM BED. THIS ALSO MADE SPACE ON BEDSIDE TABLE RESTRICTED NOT ENOUGH SPACE TO PUT BOTTLE OF WATER, PHONE AND GLASSES ON IT. NO CHARGING PORT HAD TO USE A PLUG RESTRICTING SPACE HERE EVEN MORE."

"A seven minute walk to Elizabeth Line. Nice hotel. Lovely staff. Very well priced for location. Clean, modern rooms, but a bit small than I expected. Highly recommend. "

"Great location for shops, olympic park, abba arena and Stratford tube. Also lots of bars and restaurants (although mostly chains) on doorstep. Short walk to hackney wick or fish island if preferred."

"Nice hotel, but no mirror at the dressing table which was a bit of a downside when getting ready for the evening. Room was a good size with a nice bathroom. The rooftop bar was lovely."

"Good comfortable stay. Nice clean room. Staff were helpful and polite when we checked in. Found plenty of parking and DLR 5min walk away. Would stay here again."

"Used to be a 4* hotel. It never was 4* but it was pretty good. Great breakfast and amenities in the rooms. Now that it’s been taken over by AO it has gone downhill. On Expedia it’s still advertised as 4*. There’s nothing in the room, no tea/coffee making facilities, no hair dryer, no bathmat, no nonslip mat for the over bath shower. The bedding was good quality and the mattress comfortable, but only one thin pillow provided which resulted in neck ache in the morning. Paid extra for breakfast, it was poor. The cooked breakfast consisted of cold sausages, cold hash brown and beans. Hardly a full English. The cold continental buffet was just as basic. The bar was poorly stocked and with the poor and slow service provided by an abrupt bar man. I was the only one at the bar and it still took 20minutes from starting my two drink order to sitting down to drink it. Probably my own fault for having expectations based on previous experience before it was taken over by AO who seem to be turning it into a youth hostel. I subsequently discovered that AO are AOHostels which explains a lot, but AO have it on their website as a hotel, which is definitely not a hotel anymore, it’s a youth hostel with a stylish reception. On the plus side, there’s no charge on the ferry to Canary Wharf for residents that would otherwise be £7.80 each way. "

"The breakfast was great. The location was close and accessible to everything. The staff was very nice and friendly. The pool was great and heated and indoor. The sauna and steam rooms were awesome. The gym was nice. I would recommend staying here. "
