"The facility was not clean, sheet look old, mattress look weak. I abandon the it and had to look for another accomodation"

"Our room was in the annexe. This was noisy as there was a group of teenagers running around during the evening on the floor above. The bedroom was comfortable but dark and the bathroom was very shabby. There was mould in the shower and on the windows. The general decor was drab and outside the bedroom window was untidy with an acrow prop in view. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The cooked to order breakfast was very good. Unfortunately the standard of the room and bathroom made it a generally disappointing stay and it would be great if Greene King could invest a lot more money into this lovely, historic building."

"Carpets are dirty and my room was next to the toilet and directly above the restaurant so very noisy, the bathroom is very dark, if you want a restful night's sleep this place isn't for you. Breakfast was a continental and they should make this clear when they advertise free breakfast, location is good but I won't visit again"
