"The entire staff was extremely helpful they met us outside and carried our luggage in and later upstairs to our room. The concierge and assistant manager provided us with breakfast in our room at 6 am every morning because we had early tours. In addition they called taxi’s to take us into town. We also loved listening to the bagpipes at dinner time. The dining room was absolutely lovely as were the dinners which were creative and delicious. The bar was also wonderful and featured an incredible assortment of whiskeys. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Mere words do not do it justice."

"The best part of the hotel was the location - you are steps away from multiple restaurants and pubs. Easy access to local sites and within walking distance to the train station. The staff was very kind and helpful too. The lights in the hallway went on as you walked, which was good for saving electricity, but it felt kind of dark though."

"I cannot rave enough about my stay at the Castle! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food, both dinner and breakfast were superb ( the sea bass at dinner was delicious and the black pudding was to die for!) The room was immaculate and beautiful (we stayed in the Oak Suite). If you can stay there for sure!"

"The hotel is very dated but clean and served our needs for a stopover during a motorcycle tour with plenty of parking for the bikes. Breakfast was plentiful and the haggis was amazing. Not much to do in Strathpeffer but we found a lovely little cafe a few mins walk away "

"Great location and friendly staff. Big issue was with Room 9 was mouldy and smelled. Great staff arranged new rooms. Friend stayed in different room, which was fine and clean. I was given a single room which was also good. Great location, good friendly staff. One bad room."
