"I read a Lot of reviews before choosing to stay here and I'm so glad I ignored the bad ones. I loved this hotel. My room was huge but basic. It reminded me of the kind of old properties Youth Hostels often occupy. Comfy bed, nice white sheets. This was the cheapest in the area so I dont think the bad reviews are fair. Pay more and stay somewhere else. Normally I MUST have a TV in my room but I really didnt mind that there wasnt one. Look into the history of the building to understand the reasons why it had anvair of Fawlty towts meets the Shining. "In all aspects everything was excellent. Room so clean and comfortable, the staff all extremely friendly and helpful. The evening meals were really well presented, and cooked to perfection, the breakfast self-service everything you would like. The parking a little tight at the front but other car park available at the rear. All in all wished we could have stayed longer."

"Argyll guest house is a very pleasant place to stay. It is close to Cairngorms National park and to the many whisky distilleries in the area. Our host Leslie was very friendly and helpful with some good suggestions for the area. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend Argyll if you are staying in the Cairngorms."
