"The house itself was beautiful, very clean, well-appointed, and conveniently located within easy walking distance of the train station, grocery store, restaurants, cathedral, etc. However, there was a noisy pub right across the street that played loud music until after 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Also, the management company was not prompt in responding to messages (over 24 hours)."

"We enjoyed our four nights at the Bothy. It needed some cleaning, but there was a lovely Henry available to do the job. The location is fantastic, we would book for a longer stay next time."

"Great location however the house was not clean on arrival despite owner stating it had been cleaned. I needed to clean sour milk which was throughout the fridge. There was lots of mould and damp spots in the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. Water was leaking through the ceiling in the kitchen and damaged our food.Owner advised he was trying to patch up the kitchen roof.Unable to use shower as this also leaked into kicheb. Owner suggested i just dry up the leaks and they should "stop...

"We had a wonderful stay, the weather was perfect and the apartment was perfectly located.Sonia the owner left a welcome basket of prosecco, crisps,biscuits, jam and scones. There was even dog treats and balls. A great area for walking with stunning views and friendly locals. A gem in the North East.Highly recommend.Steve, Julie plus Xena and Elsie"
