"My sister and I spent 2 nights here and found it a great location, not far from everything but still fairly quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast but had 1 dinner at the hotel and that was very nice. Prices reasonable. I would stay here again. "

"Very pleased with the room at this price. Far more spacious and better equipped than anticipated. Large bath/shower room. Plenty of tea , coffee and milk ( unlike many other places ) . We added breakfast to our stay, which was also really very good. Very polite and super-friendly service in the adjoining bar/cafe. No complaints here whatsoever Next time we’re in Newcastle for a night away , this is where we’ll come . Thank you "

"Really lovely hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, nice to be able to order off the menu. Incredibly central and perfect for the train. However this comes at a price, it’s very noisy. It’s an old building and the windows do not keep the noise out. Take some ear plugs and it’s all good!"

"Perfect position in central newcastle. Hotel reception was very friendly and professional, even supplying earplugs on request. Parking was free on site and secure. All aspects of hotel clean and tidy, lots of eating and drinking options on site. Breakfast in bedroom was great. Would definitely stay again.. "
