"Our stay was brilliant .. As usual! , we were given a room on the 5th floor(, think it was an upgrade) many extras in the room, so clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely, helpful,pleasant and a credit to their workplace. Our 3rd time staying here …And it only gets better! Well Done Copthorne "

"The Dakota is a fabulous place to stay! I truly did not want to leave the hotel. The hotel is new and it is beautifully decorated. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The room was comfortable and cozy. Unfortunately, we did get a chance to dine at the hotel. We did however have a cocktail and snacks. They were perfectly made and delicious. I would recommend to anyone a stay at The Dakota. "

"Lovely welcome fabulous staff , the hotel is in an excellent position near the beach and some thank you for a fabulous stay lovely restaurants and coffee shops near by . The bathroom was huge ,with lovely white towels and the rooms we’re spotless , some of the decor is a dated but you can see they are upgrading it bit by bit . The breakfast was delicious quality bacon and sausage, we will definitely stay there again thank the Windsor Hotel 😊😊😊"

"A great property with leisure facilities and parking close to Durham (<10 minute drive or park and ride opposite carriageway) Room was lovely but surprised no air conditioning or fridge and it did get a little hot overnight "
