The castle is beautiful, warm, with the wood fireplace burning. I will say that for a very old property they keep it extremely unkept. It is of older charm, so keep that in mind (older carpets, less electrical plugs). The food , staff, and the stay was amazing, I only wish we weren’t backpacking so we could’ve stayed longer. One thing to note are that the parking situation threw us off alittle because there is a sign at the entrance of the estate saying no vehicles pass this point but you can drive all the way up and part in any spot around the castle. So don’t worry about parking."
