"We had a lovely time at Lon Cottage, where we thought the accommodation layout worked really well. The boys took the massive downstairs bedroom, which they could use to quench their thirst for gaming without the rest of us, but in close enough proximity that we could keep an eye on them easily! "We needed a place to stay for the practice rounds of the Open at St. Andrews and this idyllic town on the River Tay was perfect. The pictures are quite accurate, but remember, if you’re visiting in summer, that this house and nearly all of Scotland has no air conditioning. We bought two tower fans and left them for others who might need in order to sleep at night. The kitchen was complete, the lining room large, the TV worked well and the beds comfortable.
