"Privacy: lovely setting with private walk in the woods out your doorstep. Quiet setting with small pond. Attractive wood interior, a clean home with everything we needed for cooking in and relaxing. Wood burning fireplace with wood supplied. Easy, pleasant communication with caretakers. Long drive in from main road but worth it. Drive to groceries, restaurants. Would love to stay again."

"The house is absolutely gorgeous! Maintained to a very high standard. Gorgeous bedrooms and a beautiful lounge area which was ideal for our trip. Our gran is approaching 90 and we wanted to spend time with her somewhere relaxing and nice. This was perfect! The views are spectacular! The house has everything you may need and the hosts have thought of everything. Hosts were in contact if we needed them and are very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely return 😊 Thank you ☺️"

"This cottage was perfect for our stay. The cleanliness and quality of all the rooms meant it was extremely comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and friendly. There was some nice personal touches as well, such as a welcome pack on arrival. The location was ideal, Ballater is beautiful and has great walks straight out the door of the cottage and there is a good variety of food and drink in the town which were all very good quality. "Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"
