"Friendly helpful staff. Great beer and ale selections."

"I enjoyed my stay, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was large and comfortable and breakfast was good. The location is stunning, right on the lake near the ferry pier. I’d recommend staying here as a great base to explore the area"

"Lovely flat in an excellent location."

"Overall great place to stay-clean, comfortable and great location. One complaint-nothing was stocked like other homes/apartments we have stayed. I wish we would have known, we could have packed some of this from home. Other than that, good stay!"

"Clean and fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds and accommodation. Perfect location for hiking and ambling into town. Special views from the apartment. Decor a little dated, power shower excellent but cubicle small. Missed having a washing machine for sports gear. Would book again as Ambleside and the Lakes are wonderful. "

"Bedroom wall had bad damp all over one wall which left a musty smell. Main room had only one blind which meant sun light woke me up at 4/30 am. Terrible mattress which was awful to sleep in. "
