"Charming cottage, in a quiet location close to the Roman sites we wanted to visit along Hadrian's Wall. Stylish with comfortable beds and sofas and all we needed for self-catering - even solar garden lights for evening drink in sun. Lovely to be greeted with prosecco, beer and chocolates (thank you!) "Just spent a week at The School House and loved it. Everything you need is there in this comfy cosy wee house, which was scrupulously clean with Covid 19 in mind. High Force is nearby and Eggleston Hall Gardens too. If you like cheese, try Teesdale Cheese Company near Copley for a wide range of cheese made on the farm and other local produce like pickles, chutneys, jams etc. I hope I can come back to the School House again Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo"

"Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,...
